Tour of Our Facilities at Sharon

Building Phase #2
In August 2006 we occupied our newest building addition.  This solved many problems for us.  The children no longer are having to meet up at Ola Elementary.  The youth no longer are having to use our old chapel area for their large group meetings.  Here are some of the highlights of Phase #2:

  • It has a gym which can be used for basketball, volleyball, aerobics, and other physical activities. It also seats 900-1,000 people and creates a theater-style environment.
  • It contains a youth café, where kids can hang out with their friends, play video games, listen to some great music, and surf the web, and during the warmer months, there is a patio where they can meet too.
  • It provides classrooms for our children’s small groups, The Sharon School, AWANA, and other kids’ programs.
  • It has a coffee bar area, a bookstore/library, classroom space for meetings, and a workout room.

City of Wannabe
When your children walk the hallways of their classrooms at Sharon, you won't hear them say that they are in Room 103 or Room 106.  You will hear bizarre statements, like, "I am in the fire department room," "I am in the movie theater room," or "I am in the the candy store room."  You will hear these words because our hallways and rooms are building to look like a city.  We want the kids to enjoy coming to church where they can know God and grow to trust Him with the decisions they make with their lives.
